There’s a lot to be said about a movie’s ability to hold my attention. Barbie certainly did, exceeding my expectations. I LOVED it! Watching it capture the imagination of audiences worldwide and being the highlight of the Oscars this year was fantastic. Barbie’s presence was unmistakable, not just for its cinematic flair but for its cultural resonance, especially in light of International Women’s Day last Friday. It does help that ‘I’m Just Ken’, performed by real-life Ken, Ryan Gosling, was exactly what the internet needed on a Sunday night. Also, Margot Robbie is a beautiful angel.
